I hope the events of last night are an indication of things to come.  I had a trip to the island and had a chance to put some lines in the water.  OK, only had a little time so out went lead core and why not, one downrigger. 

 

In twenty minutes we caught a lake trout, lost a small king and lost a big king.  Also had one other hit.  This might be a great year.
